Welcome to Logly Baby Tracker! Here are the steps to get started:
- Create Baby Profile: Enter your baby's basic information (name, date of birth, gender)
- Start Logging: Tap the "+" button on the home screen to record feedings, sleep, diapers, etc.
- View Statistics: Check weekly/monthly/yearly data analysis on the Statistics page
- Set Reminders: Customize feeding, diaper change, and sleep reminder times
- Enable iCloud Sync: Turn on in Settings to sync data across devices
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Where is my data stored? Is it secure?
A: All your data is stored locally on your device. We adopt a local-first design and do not collect or upload any of your data to our servers. If iCloud sync is enabled, data will be synchronized between your devices through Apple's iCloud service, following Apple's privacy policy.
Q: How do I back up my data?
A: You can back up your data in the following ways:
1. Enable iCloud Sync: Settings → iCloud Sync → On
2. Export Data: Settings → Data Management → Export Data, which will generate a backup file saved to your device
Q: How do I restore data after switching devices?
A: If you have enabled iCloud sync, simply log in with the same Apple ID on the new device and enable iCloud sync, and the data will sync automatically. Alternatively, use the previously exported backup file to import data.
Q: How do I delete all data?
A: Since all data is stored on your device, you can delete it in the following ways:
1. In the app: Settings → Data Management → Clear All Data
2. Uninstall the app: Uninstalling the app will delete all local data
Q: How do I use the feeding timer?
A: When recording breastfeeding, tap the "Start Timer" button, and the app will automatically record the feeding duration. You can also manually enter the feeding time. The timer supports background running and Dynamic Island display.
Q: How do I interpret the growth charts?
A: Growth charts are compared against WHO Child Growth Standards, showing your baby's weight, height, and head circumference percentile relative to children of the same age. 50% represents the average; above 50% means higher than half of peers, below 50% means lower than half of peers.
Q: What if reminder notifications are not working?
A: Please check the following settings:
1. Ensure notifications are allowed for Logly in iPhone Settings
2. Check that notification volume is turned on
3. Confirm Do Not Disturb mode is off
4. Check that reminder settings in the app are correct
Q: Can I record multiple babies?
A: The current version supports data for one baby. Multi-baby support is under development and will be available in a future update.
Troubleshooting
App Crashes or Freezes
- Try force-closing the app and reopening it
- Check if iOS is up to date
- Ensure sufficient device storage space
- If the issue persists, try restarting your device
iCloud Sync Failed
- Ensure device is signed in to iCloud and iCloud Drive is enabled
- Check if network connection is normal
- Turn off and then turn on iCloud sync in Settings
- Ensure all devices use the same Apple ID
